Men and women are physically different. What differences are there in chikung practices for men and women?

Although many people say that the location of the dantien in men and women are different, it should be the same with the only differences being abstract things like the way of understanding, the channel for entering, the time for catching the turning point and the sensitivity in chikung experience. Therefore, even though men and women are physically different, the way they practice should be the same.

In ancient times it was believed that the dantien in men and women were in different locations according to their respective size and physical structures because wuch a belief would enhance the effects for practice. Actually, this erroneous concept positioning the tantien in the “ttanchung or middle of the chest for women while men focused the practice of dantien in the abdomen was a foolish way to lower the achievement of female practitioners. The practice of chi is one of the few ways for perfecting human qualities on an equal basis despite the physical differences for both men and women. Usually, the basic method for chikung training includes breathing, stretching, and mind control, which is suitable for all women and men, children and the aged regardless of their physical differences, mental intelligence, experience, education, and so on.

Everyone easily is able to practice the same principles and styles of chikung. Changes will happen naturally in accordance with your basic quality, experience, efforts, attitude, target, orientation, and so on. In this way, everyone is able to find their own way through practice to build up their energy and to accumulate their energy. This energy, whenever adequate, will become the forces to promote one achievement in the practice of chi.
